Alcopa Immo Rebrand


PROJECT

Alcopa Immo is a storied real estate firm in Belgium and parts of France. Their specialty is taking abandoned community spaces (churches, old warehouses, etc.) and giving them new lives as flexible contract rentals. Need a big space one day and a small one the next? Alcopa Immo wants to give people of the community freedom to use these spaces as they need. Under the giant umbrella of Alcopa Immo lives 13 other subsidiaries all in need of a rebrand.
My job was to take an already approved redesign concept and “do some tweaking”.

My job was to take an already approved redesign concept and “do some tweaking”.

Things that had to stay:
·  The “gold” gradient
·  Calibre typeface
·  The houses, especially the open door





THE SOLUTION





A modular logo system to keep the logo short, include all 13 subsidiaries, or use as a border.





THE CONCEPT





Alcopa Immo is all about integrating into communities to help them find use for abandoned spaces, so we created a city of icons in an abstract perspective.








All of the icons were proportionally built off of this initial rectangular shape, which became representative of the umbrella of brands under Alcopa Immo.










As a representative of so many other companies, Alcopa Immo’s logo naturally became the “roofless” building option upon which all others are made.
